Hey TJ. Your approach is very sound. I would have a hard time on the “dreadmill” but more power to you. The biggest thing I can tell you is to listen to the hip. It’s not about running time or miles covered right now. Focus on recovery and doing what you can. As the hip heals, you will get stronger and do more. It’s been 13 years for me and I am headed out to run a 50k next weekend. Stay patient and always always always ……… stay optimistic!
