Greetings to all and thank you Tom and all who have contributed for this site. A running life after THR looks very encouraging. I believe I have read all of the reports provided which is a wealth of information.

I have delayed the inevitable as long as possible. Using cortisone and Celebrex to maintain some running mileage. I was able to run the “America finest City” (San Diego) 5K several weeks ago. After that I was pretty much shot. Fortunate to place first in my division even with a lack luster performance. Now it off to surgery. Will send update soon.
