Wife, mother, grandmother, marathoner. Began running in 2004. Was diagnosed with severely arthritic hip (bone to bone)after the 2015 Boston Marathon. After disbelieving the diagnosis, finally, after a year of worsening pain, I scheduled a total hip replacement (left hip). I am hoping to return to running, even if only a few miles at at time, once fully recovered.
