I am a 38 year old male who was diagnosed with avascular necrosis in 2013. I was an avid runner but I have all but stopped in hope of slowing the bone death in my hips. My hips have worsened but I'm not quite at the point of THR just yet (2020). I want desperately to start running again, for physical & mental health.
