Hi TAM, you seem to be doing really well, I’ve had both hips replaced in the last 16 months and am now 4 months post my right THR, having a year between ops. You’re over the tough first week, you will feel tired for the first few weeks, but doing your hip exercises and walking with a cane are the best things you can do right now. It will get easier as the days go by, keep positive, I’m sure you’ll get there. I got myself into a routine as quick as I could and after 2 weeks I was walking 2 miles a day,albeit very slowly and carefully. The raised toilet seat was a bonus and it does make it so much easier,[I didn’t have one after my first op].PS I’d definitely have the spinal if you can.
