I have a nice pair of flip-flops that I used. I even had them with me in hospital instead of slippers. There was, of course, the constant worry that they would get lost or nicked, but thankfully the worst that ever happened was that they would keep disappearing under the bed whenever the cleaners came in to do the floors! The nurses and physios became well accustomed to fishing them out from under the bed for me.

I love them because they have arch support, a grippy sole, and stay on my feet really well. They were about the only thing I could wear for the longest time because I had so much swelling which took months to go down.

They are still well-loved and well-used to this day.
