ParticipantWelcome to the club, macwep! I’m 5 and 7 months out from both hips being done. I’m finding how frustrating it is to hold back when I want to get back to it. Especially when you hear about others having great and early return to sport. Good luck with your healing, and keep us informed of your progress. Cheers, Gary

ParticipantHello Macwhep and I thought I was the youngest on the list when I had my done at 49 but you take the cake!!! The only limitations are what you put on yourself and I would tell you that at 38 years old you perhaps had not hit your longer running distance prime! So have no mental limitations, but certainly and emphatically, listen to your body during your comeback because it will definitely be a comeback to try to get where you were at your best. And if you never Get there, you will have had an amazing journey and will have exceeded many goals!
