ParticipantBernard,
Oh, wonderful! I have been looking forward to reading this paper. Interesting the functional changes that you mentioned which may cause increased prosthesis wear. I will certainly consult a sports physiotherapist before I resume any running, and whilst I have a background in biomechanics (years ago), I will have to go back and study the paper further. Thanks for your follow through!
Cheers, Gary

ParticipantI tried to open the link to the article, but it would not open. I would love to see research following how the biomechanics changes with intensive, sport-directed physical therapy. My surgeon only now prescribed PT after I requested it, and I am 12 and 14 months out from bilateral procedures. Only 50% of surgeons in the U.S. prescribe post-op P.T., so no wonder there is a high rate of muscle imbalances 1-2 years out. I haven’t tried running yet, and I can feel instability with certain movements/positions. Cheers, Gary
