AJR,

One of my regular chants is to stay optimistic and be patient. I started running at 3 months and didn’t start feeling good until about 18 months. Your hip will tell you if and when you’ve done too much. Give it a rest when it does. The hip dictates the training plan. But after the rest, get started again. Eventually, the hip will request fewer tests and you will be back to competing.
