I celebrated my one year Anniversary of my new (BHR resurfaced) Hip today, by signing up for the Mt. Hood Marathon. This race is wicked fast as it starts at Timberline and descends 4758′ over the 26.2 miles, and yes! the course is USATF certified and a Boston Qualifier..whoo hoooMt. Hood Marathon

      That’s great, hope you have a fab time. Be careful on the downhill’s, I find they hurt my hip more than uphills. Be sure to get some training running down hill. Looking forward to reading your race report.
