I am recovering well have been swimming since 2 weeks out and going out on my bike tomorrow for the first time after a few sessions on stationary bike. I am 45 and have been a keen runner for the last 15 years despite always having some hip pain. I haven't been able to run for the last year and have taken up cycling instead. I had a THR on 16th Jan 2019 and am recovering well can walk without aids and am doing PT exercise at home. As with lots of people on the site I have been told not to run and am worried about causing problems for my other joints.
