I am 48 and also contemplating THR vs resurfacing. I’ve been doing research and reading up on any information I can find. I like the idea of resurfacing over THR because it preserves more bone, and allows one to retain more flexibility. But the metal on metal and chance of metal ions entering the blood steam and causing heath issues concerns me. What did you end up deciding on?
