I’m 65 years old and had left Anterior THR on October 28, 2019. Before the surgery my doctor told me not to run again. Been running since 1978. However during my last visit (12/18), he recommended I don’t run. I told him that I’m not going to around long enough to wear out my hip. Recovery has gone extremely well. I couldn’t be happier and neither can my doctor. Any ideas how long I should wait to try and start running again? I’m thinking 6 months.
Thanks.
