  1. Good luck Charles on your run. I ran 5 miles today outside. just take it easy and listen to your body. not just your hip but calves and knees.

  2. Played my first game of basketball since March of last year. My surgery was July 29th. It felt great. Played one game this week. Will rest and lift tomorrow and jog one day out side and one day in the pool before next Sunday and then go to the court again. This is the first time I’ve played without pain in about 5 or 6 years.

  3. Hope your run went well Charles. I know my 1st run was a little ‘scary’; didn’t know what to expect. Sure felt good to get out though! In order to take some of the impact off the hip/femur my doc suggested walking poles(if you walk). Can take 30-40% of the impact off plus it helps with upper body strength. Good luck. I’m hoping for 3 runs this summer: Marathon end of April, 50k trail in July and 24 hr end of August.
