I had a left THR (anterior approach) two years ago. At least partially due to this site, I started running again 3 months ago. It is going ok, however after about 2.5 to three miles I start having some pretty intense left gluteal pain. I’m assuming it is piriformis syndrome. Also, for full disclosure I ha e cerebral palsy which affects my left side. Has anyone else experienced this? If so, what are some ways to resolve it? I would like to run more (maybe a half marathon) and don’t want to be limited by, literally, a pain in the butt. Thanks!
