I have been a runner my whole life. It became part of my workouts in 1966 as a freshman in high school and has been part of my life in one way or another ever since. I have completed 3 marathons all sub-4, the fastest was 3:40:17 in Hartford. A few years ago I transitioned to a minimal style. That was a couple years before the arthritis got so bad I was bone on bone. Post surgery I have had a great recovery. I run a little, but have wanted to give a year of recovery before I did anything more than 3 miles. I am an avid cyclist and do a number of other exercises to compliment my conditioning. At 62 I am 5'5" and weigh 147lbs.
