I’ve had osteoarthritis in my left hip for roughly 6 years. I want to get back to becoming a triathlete . (Ive done a few shorter distance ones and now only doing Swim Bike races.) I’ve been putting off hip replacement because I’ve heard that you are not supposed to run or jump after THR. Also because I’ve been in fear that they could mess up and I could possibly be worse off after surgery. I am now in more pain and been inspired by athletes who have had THR. Just now proceeding to pick a surgeon and be able to make informed decisions on brands, materials, and surgery approach options.
