Hi, I am a 52 year old female former mid pack ironman triathlete and marathon runner living in beautiful Victoria BC Canada. I stopped running 4 years ago due to hip pain that progressed to bone on bone arthritis in both hips. I had both hips resurfaced in Belgium with CoC January 21, 2021. I have been lifting weights, biking, hiking and a little bit of running. I am hoping to get back to running 3 days per week with 5-10km runs. I can’t believe how good it feels to be pain free and most days I completely forget I had surgery. My only regret is not getting the surgery sooner!
