Hi,
I had a right THR ceramic on ceramic on October 9th , so I am coming up to 5 weeks post op. I am a triathlete and hoped I would be walking without a stick by now – a friend who is not an athlete tells me he did not need any aid from 2 weeks. I’d be interested to hear the peoples experiences. I don’t need much support from a stick but I think it will be another couple of weeks before I can comfortably walk without one all the time. I have been swimming and using an exercise bike ( only bout sf 10-15 minutes with little resistance) . Any words of encouragement/ advice out there?
