I'm a physio and a GB age group triathlete. My right hip became suddenly painful in June 2018 & despite my best efforts failed to improve during the summer. Eventually I organised an MRI in August which showed a completely wrecked joint, bone on bone with a collapsing femoral head. Replacement was the only thing to do....sadly!
