Hi all, I’m new, this is my first post. I hope to one day be a contributor.
Making a long story real short, I had my hip crushed 3 years ago in a tractor accident and received burns so sever, that I lost the use of my left leg below the knee. Prior to this I was an avid runner and miss it terribly. In an attempt to become a runner again I. Had my leg amputated 5 weeks ago. Many people run on a prosthetic, so that’s not my concern. I feel like building hip support muscles will be crucial if I ever want to be a runner again. I am looking for suggestions on the best exercises to build hip supporting muscles while I am waiting on my prosthetic.
Thanks
greg
