Wonder if this community can help. I had hip replacement almost 18 months ago, without problems. I can run again, and feel no pain. I do though, still walk with a small hitch in my stride. I don’t notice it, but drives my spouse crazy that I had the surgery and I still have a limp. I am afraid my stride is now engrained with this limp.. wondering if folks have any exercises or PT work that either strengthened, realigned, eliminated the limp. I feel my hip replaced leg is slightly longer, so I swing my leg around a bit, instead of stride directly forward. Can you point me to a PT routine that anyone used, that worked. Long time runner, triathlete with shot hip.. may be from carrying heavy bag on right side, lots of tennis and paddle tennis as a child and of course lots of running for 25 years.
