I had my 6 week consultant return visit last week.
He was very happy with my recovery, he said, all the pre Op cycling I done paid off.
He also gave me the go ahead to up the physio starting today with a 20-30 cycle :)…
Then I asked him the big question about a return to light jogging on grass. He told me to stay on bike for a couple of months to build up fitness and then add a 20 minute jog on grass twice weekly..happy with that.
One thing he did mention was,there is NO medical evidence to prove that running has any effect on a new hip.
